  1. To solve a quadratic inequality without a graph you have to use a number line. You take the numbers in the equation and put them on the number line. Then you put closed or opened circles depending on the less than or greater than signs. Then you pick random numbers on either side of the circles and plug them in for x if they work, then from the circles extend a line in the direction of the random numbers.

  2. it seems easier to solve if you draw a number line

  4. To solve an inequality video, you take the original numbers given and switch the signs to get x values. Then, draw and number line and label it wit your x values. AFter that, put either an open circle or closed circle on the numbers depending on whether it is an equal to or not inequalities. Then, pick numbers on the number line that arent between the ones you already plotted. if they don't work, then all that you are suppose to shade are the numbers on the inside of the plotted numbers.

  7. To me it seems easier to do a number line instead of a graph because it takes more time to work out then the number line.

  9. When solving inequalites you are explaining whether the number is less/greater than or equal to x. In the video she showed if you had parentheses that you had to take the number and x out and put in to less/greater than or equal to form. Like if you have (x-5) and (x+4) then it would be shown as 5>x>-4. Then she showed how it would be shown on a number line.

  10. When doing a graph, it takes longer than the number line and in my opinion it is a lot easier.

  11. if you dont have a graphing calculator then you can just label the numbers on the number line. Then fill in random numbers from the number line into the equation to see if it works and if it does shade the correct portion.

  12. and on the problem one video all you do is factor and then work it out the same way which is awesome bc FACTORING IS EASY!!!!!
